Iona University Athletics

Mike Ritz is his second year as assistant director of basketball operations. A 2013 graduate of Iona, Ritz was a two-year head manager of the team.

In his role with the Gaels, Ritz is responsible for overseeing film exchange, directing the team managers, produces the monthly alumni newsletter and assists in the day-to-day office activites.

Ritz was actively involved in the Mass Communications department while a student, serving as the sports director of North Avenue Nation, and sports editor of the Ionian, the college's newspaper.

Ritz earned his bachelor's degree in mass communications. He currently resides in his hometown of Yorktown, NY.
