Lawrenceville, NJ - A first half goal by Aly Lo would serve to be the game winner as the Iona College men's soccer team defeated Rider by a score of 1-0 on the road.  The win was the Gaels' third straight and they improve to 3-0-0 in MAAC play.

The game also marked Lo's third straight contest in which he scored at least one goal, with the junior now scoring eight times this season.  Senior Michael Ferenci recorded his first assist of the year.

Iona goalkeeper Nils Binstock was busy in the net, making ten saves on 14 Rider shots.  Both sides took three corner kicks.

The Maroon & Gold will try to keep a clean conference record with a contest at Loyola on Oct. 14.  Game time is set for 1:00 pm.
