NEW ROCHELLE, NY - With two first half goals, the Iona College men's soccer team picked up a 2-0 victory over Saint Peter's in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at Mazzella Field. The Gaels improve to 11-1-2 overall with their eighth straight win and remain undefeated in MAAC play at 5-0.

Mario Rios crossed the ball from the left sideline and Di Miceli booted it by Peacocks goalkeeper Carlos Suarez. With just over 30 minutes expired, the Gaels added another tally to increase the edge to 2-0. Senior

Julian Grajales.
Liserra led the Gael offense with three shots on goal, followed by two from Di Miceli. Iona led 5-3 in corner kicks in the contest. Fourth-year goalie
Nils Binstock has now shut out eight opponents this season after making eight saves against Saint Peter's.
The Gaels return to action on Oct. 30, taking on Loyola on the road at 3:00 pm.
