NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona College women's soccer team played to a scoreless tie against Seton Hall in double overtime at Mazzella Field. It was the second draw of the season for each team, bringing Iona's record to 1-4-2 while the Pirates are 3-1-2.
Both the Gaels and Pirates recorded 20 shots in the well-matched contest with both striking 11 shots on goal. Iona outnumbered Seton Hall 5-0 in shots during the first overtime period.

Trista Rivera (Iona) and Elizabeth Bond (Seton Hall) both played the complete 110 minute set, making 11 saves apiece.
The Gaels have two games remaining on their non-conference schedule, both on the road, beginning with a Sep. 16 match-up at Columbia. Kick-off is slated for 7:00 pm.
