CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The Iona College men's swimming squads completed the New England Catholic Invite with dual meets on Saturday. 

The Gaels finished 4-2 with victories over Le Moyne (188-138), Providence (163-153), Holy Cross (187-155), and Regis (221-45). 

Junior Justin Grigull finished three seconds behind the first place finisher from Boston College in the 200-Freestyle at 1:47.07.  In the 500-Free, Grigull took first in 4:53.37 and freshman Scott Martin finished fourth. Martin took fourth in 2:04.14 and junior Nick Kotonias finished seventh at 2:04.54. 

Senior Chris Yacobacci won the men's 100-Breastsroke at 59.71.  Giovine finished seventh at 1:02.48.  The duo then placed first and second, respectively in the 200-Breastroke, finished three seconds apart. 

In the men's 200-Medley Relay, the squad of senior Chris Giovine, junior Tyler Elfert, freshmen Vincent DiNapoli and Brandon Hadhazy finished fourth at 1:42.06.  Hadhazy later finished fifth in the 200-Breaststroke at 2:05.58.  Elfert also took fifth in the 100-Butterfly. 

Kotonias finished fourth in the 400-IM at 4:30.41. DiNapoli finished just behind him in sixth at 4:37.97.

The Gaels will make head back to New Rochelle for a meet with St. Francis (NY) on Saturday.
