Men's Swimming And Diving Falls to St. Peter's

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona College men's swimming and diving team fell to MAAC rival St. Peter's 111-82 at the Hynes Center Pool on Tuesday evening.

Senior Chris Yacobacci won the 200-breast in 2:07.46 with junior Chris Giovine finishing second.

The Gaels 400-free relay “A” squad won in 3:22.71 and freshman Scott Martin won the 500-free in 4:55.06. Martin also finished second in the 1,000-free in 10:18.50.

Junior Ryan Bacci came in second in the 50-free, falling by 27 tenths of a second (22.97).

The Gaels will host Fairfield on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
