NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Trailing into the final race of the day, the Iona College men's swimming and diving team got a big win in the 400-free to give the Gaels a 123-114 victory over Fairfield on Senior Day at the Hynes Athletics Center Pool.

Martin won the 1,000-free in 10:10.19 and Grigull took the 200-free in 1:45.02. De Leone took second in the 200-free, finishing two seconds behind Grigull.
Yacobacci added to his win totals on the year, taking the 200-IM in 1:57.77 and the 200-fly in 2:08.06. Giovine placed second at 2:13.47.
Grigull added more points to the Gaels win as he took the 500-free defeating Martin by seven seconds at 4:50.37.
The Gaels will return to the Hynes Athletics Center on Monday for a meet with Manhattan at 6 p.m.
