For our men to step up and win and women's to take second in the St. Petersburg Relay Classic in the middle of daily double sessions is encouraging," Cavataro said. "There is no doubt we are a tired group right now, but we will be ready for Fairfield on the road next Saturday. The work since September and through the fall and winter months will shine!"
The wins raise the women's season dual meet mark to 8-2 as they next take on the defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champions on the road next Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1:00 p.m. The Iona men move to 6-1 on the season and will also face Fairfield next.
