NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona University men's basketball head coach
Tobin Anderson announced the addition of Isaac Brice to the 2023-24 squad. Brice becomes the 12th newcomer to the program for Anderson's first season with the Gaels.

Brice, a 6-6 wing, comes to New Rochelle after spending one season at Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit, Mississippi. He is a gifted athlete that has shown a knack for rebounding, the ability protect the rim on defense and IS capable of highlight reel dunks.

As a freshman, Brice started all 27 games in 2022-23 for SMCC as a freshman averaging 7.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.2 assists in 24.0 minutes per game. He shot 53% from the field and 75.0% from the free throw line. Brice posted six games with 10 or more points including a season-best 22 vs. Mississippi Delta on November 7. He had four games with 10 or more rebounds with a season-high 11 vs. Southern-Shreveport in his lone-double-double a 17-point, 11-board effort. The Bears finished with a 16-11 overall mark and competed in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament.

The Picayune, Mississippi native played for Picayune High School as a senior and earned district and team MVP honors while leading his squad to a 19-8 mark in 2021-22 in his first season of organized basketball.
