WEST LAFAYETTE, IN - The Iona University women's soccer team dropped an 8-0 decision at the Big Ten's Purdue at Folk Field. The Boilermakers scored six first half goals in defeat of the Gaels.

Purdue held an 18-4 shots advantage with graduate Samantha Hogan and freshman Victoria Ryan accounting for a pair of attempts each.

Junior Caroline Scott and freshman Savannah Rogers split time in goal and each made three saves.

The Gaels return to New Rochelle for their 2023 home opener vs. Le Moyne at Mazzella Field in a 5 p.m. kickoff.
