HANOVER, NH - The Iona University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Dartmouth Wednesday evening. The Big Green scored twice in each half in defeat of the Gaels (1-6-1).
The home team held a shots advantage of 22-10 including 11-3 on goal. Junior
Caroline Scott and freshman
Savannah Rogers split time in net. Scott stopped four attempts in the first half while Rodgers had three saves in the second.
Freshmen
Lauren Sonski,
Marissa Graziano and
Payton Foster each recorded two shots coming off the bench to lead the Gaels.
Iona returns to action on Sunday when they host Niagara in a MAAC matchup at Mazzella Field. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. in New Rochelle.
