Secure Your Seat in the Iona Fan Sections!

Limited tickets are still available and can be purchased through the official Iona Athletics website. Buying through the official Iona link is the most secure way to ensure you're seated in the designated Iona fan sections alongside fellow Gaels supporters.

Iona Seating Sections:

  • 100-Level: Section 102 (behind the basket nearest the Iona bench)
  • 200-Level: Sections 208 and 209

Madison Square Garden is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, directly above Penn Station, making it one of the most accessible venues in New York City.

Public Transportation (Recommended)

Subway:
  • Lines A, C, E (8th Avenue)
  • Lines 1, 2, 3 (7th Avenue)
  • All lines stop at Penn Station/34th Street
Commuter Rail:
  • Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)
  • NJ Transit
  • Amtrak All trains arrive at Penn Station, which is directly beneath Madison Square Garden
  • Metro-North:
  • Take Metro-North to Grand Central Terminal, then transfer to the subway (take the 1, 2, 3 south to 34th Street-Penn Station)
  • Driving & Parking
There is no official parking at Madison Square Garden, but numerous parking garages are available in the surrounding area.

Parking Tips:

  • Book in advance for the best rates and guaranteed spots
  • Rates typically range from $18-$58 depending on the garage and time of arrival
  • Early reservations secure better pricing—book ahead through services like SpotHero, ParkWhiz, or BestParking
  • Garages fill quickly on event days, especially for weekend games
  • Consider arriving early if parking on-site to allow time for finding a spot
Nearby Parking Options: Multiple garages are located within a few blocks of MSG, particularly along 8th Avenue, 9th Avenue, and side streets between 30th and 40th Streets. Pre-booking through a parking app will save you time and money.

Madison Square Garden Bag Policy

Travel Light! Madison Square Garden has a clear bag policy to ensure the safety and security of all guests.

What You Can Bring:

  • Bags do NOT have to be clear
  • All bags must fit comfortably under your seat
  • Maximum bag size: 22" x 14" x 9"
  • Small purses, clutches, and backpacks within size limits are permitted

What is Prohibited:

  • Oversized bags larger than 22" x 14" x 9"
  • Briefcases, coolers, and other hard-sided containers
  • Outside food and beverages
