NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Iona University Athletics is excited to announce beginning Friday, February 14, during the men's basketball game vs. Rider, fans attending games at the Hynes Center will be able to purchase alcoholic beverages and carry them to their seats. This new offering will be available for the remainder of the 2024-25 men's and women's basketball home games.

Fans aged 21 and older can purchase beer at designated concession areas, with a valid government-issued photo ID required for every transaction. Alcohol sales will conclude at the 10-minute mark of the second half for men's games and at the start of the fourth quarter for women's games.

Iona remains committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Providing alcohol to minors or misrepresenting age will result in immediate ejection from the arena. Additionally, fans who appear intoxicated will be removed from the venue, and the university reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion.
