THE RUNDOWN
The Gaels led by as many as 10 points with 2:24 to play in the first. The Mountaineers scored the final nine points of the frame to cut the margin to one at the break.

Iona trailed for the first time in the contest with 16:06 remaining in the second half. It was a two point game with 8:24 to play before the Maroon & Gold's offense turned cold. The Mount limited the Gaels to just 1-for-11 shooting following the Reaves' three-ball that made it 43-41.
IONA PERFORMERS
- Reaves scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He had two steals, a block, and an assist.
- Freshman Adam Njie Jr. had eight points with four rebounds, three steals and two assists.
- Both Reaves and Njie were named to the All-Tournament Team.
- Junior Yaphet Moundi led with nine rebounds.
THE OPPONENT
- Dallas Hobbs led three double-digit scorers with 18 points while dishing seven assists.
- Dola Adebayo had 15 points and Arlandus Keyes posted 14.
- Jedy Cordilia led all performers with 12 boards.
TEAM STATISTICS
- Mount St. Mary's held a 42.3%-31.0% shooting advantage converting 12 three point field goals.
- Rebounding was even at 37-37. Iona led 17-11 on the offensive glass and 14-11 on second chance points.
- The Mountaineers posted 18 assists and 19 turnovers. Iona had nine assists and 16 giveaways.
THE FINALE
The Gaels complete the 2024-25 campaign with 17-17 overall record.
