NEW ROCHELLE, NY - In the Gaels first home game of the season 11 different Iona players entered the scoring column in the dominating win over Conn College, 17-9.
Addison Collins led the way with three goals and one assist.
Ella Dean picked up the win in net for the Maroon & Gold, playing 24 of the games 32 minutes. Dean allowed eight of the nine goals, making seven saves for a .467 save percentage.
Lilly Morris saw action playing the second quarter, he allowed one goal and made four saves along with two assists.
The other ten gaels that found the back of the net were;
Mikayla Arthur,
Lola Trujillo,
Bailey Desmond, and
Vanessa McNabb with two each.
Blaize Penso,
Sadie Sallas,
Lea Preston,
Anna O'Malley,
Olivia Weissman, and
Kaitlyn Williams all notched one goal apiece, Penso tied Collins with four points as she added a game high three assists.
Iona Improves to 8-11 on the season and will be back in action on Saturday March 29 for another MAAC double header. They will be taking on Marist at 9:30 am and the host school Mount St. Mary's at 4:30 pm.
