PRINCETON, NJ -  The Iona University women's track team was represented by Tayla Gunton on Friday night as she took part in the Princeton Elite Meet. In one of the final events of the day held at Weaver stadium, the Iona athlete battled it out in the five-kilometer event.

WoMEN'S 5000-meter run

Tayla Gunton finished seventh in a strong field of nine finishers. Her time of 16:41.32 lands second among the athlete's personal best times in the calendar year both in indoor and outdoor events.
