Iona Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

RICHMOND, VA. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has recognized the Iona University men's and women's swimming and diving programs as Scholar All-America teams for their academic excellence during the Fall 2025 semester.

The Iona women posted a 3.43 team GPA, while the men recorded a 3.25 GPA. The honor marks the 31st consecutive semester the women's program has earned Scholar All-America recognition, a streak dating back to Spring 2010. On the men's side, the program has now earned the distinction 27 times over the past 31 semesters.

In total, 709 programs were recognized this year with 16,421 student-athletes earning Scholar All-America recognition for their outstanding academic performance., Both the men's and women's programs at Iona named 55 student athletes. To qualify, each team was required to post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of collegiate swimming and diving coaches. Its mission is to advance the sport by placing coaches at the center of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
