HAMDEN, CT –The Iona women's soccer team fought hard on the road but ultimately dropped a 4-0 decision to Quinnipiac on Saturday afternoon at the Quinnipiac Soccer and Lacrosse Turf Complex. The Gaels generated plenty of offense and matched the hosts shot-for-shot throughout the afternoon, but failed to find the back of the net.

The Gaels looked to flip momentum with another flurry in the attacking third with five shot attempts in the next ten minutes of play but were denied by the Quinnipiac defense.
