NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Iona University baseball team fell to La Salle 8-0 in its midweek match up. The Explorers broke the game open in the third and fourth innings, scoring five unanswered runs, then added three more late. The Gaels struggled to find their rhythm at the plate against La Salle's pitching.

La Salle opened the inning with a double down the right field line, followed by a stolen base to move the runner to third.
