PENNSAUKEN, NJ – The Iona University men's rowing team competed Saturday at the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta on Cooper River in Pennsauken, NJ. The Gaels raced in the Men's Varsity 4+ event against crews from Fairfield, Rollins, Franklin & Marshall, and RIT.
 

MEN'S VARSITY 4+

Iona placed fifth in the Men's Varsity 4+ Final 2 race with a time of 8:31.67. Fairfield won the race in 7:05.09 followed by Rollins in 7:10.10 and Franklin & Marshall in 7:23.38. RIT crossed in fourth at 7:32.82.
 
The Gaels' boat featured freshman Andrew Yates, freshman Bogdan Gelevan, junior William Bogenrief, sophomore Jonah Cone, and junior Nick Pagliuca.
 

UP NEXT

Iona takes on the IRA National Championship at the end of May in Sacramento, CA on Lake Natoma.
