GENERAL:
Third-year player that Will see time vs. left handed hitters in a platoon role at third base as well as in the corner outfield... Line drive hitter with some pop... Should help Gaels with his versatility and ability to play multiple positions... Born 12/13/84... Majoring in Accounting.

AS A JUNIOR:
Started 25 games and made 35 appearances for the Gaels... Hit .172 with 16 hits, three doubles, and a home run... Reached base via the hit by pitch seven times to lead the team... Had three multi hit games including a career-best 3-for-4 effort with two RBI vs. Rider on Apr. 15... Had three multi-RBI efforts with three on two occasions vs. St. Francis (Apr. 20) and at Marist in the season finale on May 19.

AS A SOPHOMORE:
Appeared in 47 games while making 43 starts at the corner outfield positions and third base... Batted .208 with 32 hits in 154 at bats, finishing second on the team with 10 doubles and tying for the team lead with two home runs... Drove in a team best 21 runs batted including five games with multiple RBI... Recorded six multi-hit efforts... Had a season long five game hitting streak from Mar. 18 to Mar. 26... Homered against Fresno State in a 3-2 win on the road vs. the Bulldogs.

BEFORE IONA:
Batted .362 for Marietta's JV squad as a freshman in 2003... Was 1-for-4 on the varsity squad that season including a pinch-hit grand slam in his first varsity at bat... Played scholastically at St. Dominic HS in Oyster Bay, NY... Earned CSHAA All-League honors as a freshman and sophomore... Was named CHSAA All-Long Island as a junior and senior... Batted .427 in four seasons of varsity ball at St. Dominic... Also lettered in soccer and basketball.
