Osher joined Iona for the inaugural 2023-24 season as an assistant coach after spending a year at Division II Felician University as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
"Cassidy is a very passionate, energetic and intelligent young woman. She impressed me with her work ethic, talent and leadership as an athlete when I coached across the mat from her when she was an athlete at Quinnipiac," Eshleman said. "Cass was a standout tumbler and top for the Bobcats so I have no doubt she will instantaneously affect those rounds for us. Her past experiences from Quinnipiac and World Cup will undoubtedly help us build a successful program and family here at Iona to win championships on and off the mat."
Osher is a former Division I All-American, spending five years at Quinnipiac University and captaining her squad for three of them. She was a standout for the Bobcats, earning ECAC Specialist of the Year honors following her sophomore campaign in 2019 and two-time All-ECAC honorable mention following her first two seasons.  Osher earned her bachelor's and master's degrees at Quinnipiac, eanring three NCATA Academic Honor Roll selections and was a five-time member of the dean's list as a student-athlete.  Osher is also an alumna of World Cup All-Star in New Jersey where she was a two-time world champion on its Level 6 Shooting Stars team.
"I have been so blessed to have a wonderful student-athlete experience as a former athlete at World Cup all-stars, and then at Quinnipiac University in the sport. I fell in love with acro and tumbling, so the opportunity to pursue my passion in coaching and pass that on to other athletes is a blessing," Osher said. "I want to thank my former coaches, Iona and coach Eshleman for giving me this opportunity. I am beyond excited for this upcoming season and the ability to share my experiences with the athletes coming through the program, and the opportunity to be a part of their growth on and off the mat. Let's Go Gaels!"
