NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Iona University rowing programs will host the 2026 Br. Novak Memorial Metropolitan Championships on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

Now an annual staple in the rowing program's spring schedule, we look forward to seeing another huge turnout from rowing alumni, parents and supporters of the program to cheer on our Gaels, celebrate the senior class and build momentum for the postseason races in the following weeks. The event is free to attend, but registration is always encouraged to help us plan accordingly! Last March, we christened the Robert J. Musial racing shell, made possible by the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence '77, '81MBA and Marilyn Musial Trainor '85, '84MBA. This year, we are fortunate to add another shell to the fleet: the Francis F. Trainor. After racing concludes, please join us for a special ceremony to christen this newest addition to the Iona rowing fleet.
