GENERAL:
Senior backstop that will continue to be the team's primary catcher in 2008... ... Will be slotted to hit in the middle of Iona's lineup... Good defensive catcher who could see time in other positions to keep his bat in the lineup.

AS A JUNIOR (2008):
Started 45 games, with 148 at-bats...22 Walks led club...2-3 with an RBI and run scored at Duke (Feb. 24)...Triple and a run scored vs. Rhode Island (Mar. 9)...1-3 with a run scored at Saint Peter's (Mar. 24)...3-5 with two RBI and two runs scored vs. Sacred Heart (Apr. 2)...1-2 with an RBI and two runs scored at Army (Apr. 8)...Two runs scored vs. Rider (Apr. 13)...2-3 at Manhattan (Apr. 19)...1-3 with an RBI at St. John's (May  6).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2007):
Finished fifth on the team with a .245 batting average while starting at catcher in each of his 46 appearances... Collected 39 hits (fourth on team), including three doubles, a home run, 12 runs scored, and 16 RBI (tied for third on team)... Had eight multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games... Hit his first collegiate home run vs. New York Tech on Mar. 27... Was 2-for-4 with two doubles vs. Marist on Apr. 21... Went 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI at Rider on May 6.

AS A FRESHMAN (2006):
Batted .250 with 22 hits in 88 at bats with in 29 appearances with 22 of his 23 starts coming at catcher... Had five multi-hit efforts including a 3-for-5, two RBI effort vs. St. Francis (NY) and a 3-for-4 day vs. Fairfield on May 14... Had his lone multi-RBI effort vs. the Terriers... Hit in four straight games from Mar. 30 - Apr. 6... Hit two doubles and drove in seven RBI on the season... Finished second in fielding percentage (.982) with three errors in 171 chances... Stole both of his bases, tying a team season-high vs. Columbia on Mar. 13.

BEFORE IONA:
A three year varsity starter... Captained the team as a senior... earned all league as a junior and all conference as a senior... born 9/12/87
