GET TO KNOW ANGEL:
  • Favorite athlete? Yadier Molina
  • Favorite food? Chinese food
  • Favorite sports memory? Winning county championships with the Farmingdale dealers junior year and also winning best catcher in Nassau my senior year
  • Nickname? Recently some people would call me pony tail because I do have one but I really never had one because I feel like Angel is the best name someone can be called
  • Hobbies outside of sports? I like to golf occasionally. Go to the gym and hang out with my boys
  • Career goals? Hopefully after college I can play pro baseball and have a long and healthy career
  • Person I would most like to meet and why? Yadier Molina because i would love to ask little things about catching
  • Interesting things/facts about you? I’ve had long hair since 5th grade. Football was my first sport. I like to sing
  • After Iona I plan on? I plan on playing baseball for as long as I can and to teach as many kids possible the right way to play baseball
  • Person/people I admire most and why? I admire my mom the most because she has been through a lot. She has beat cancer three times and she never complains and when I see that. It just makes me wanna work harder and never complain about anything
  • Biggest accomplishment in life so far? I think people voting on me for winning best catcher in Nassau and actually putting in the work and winning it .
  • I try to mold my game after? I try to mold my game after Yadier Molina from his framing and receiving and also how he swings the bat
  • I chose my jersey number because? I chose number 21 all these years because my moms birthday is may 21st and i always chose it because of her
  • Pregame rituals? Monster energy and music
  • Anything about that could be a good feature story for a newspaper, magazine, television program, etc. I’ve been growing my hair since 5th grade and everyone knows me because of it
