GENERAL:
Tall, lanky right hander that will see action on both the mound and in the outfield... Power bat and a strong arm... Showed tremendous improvement in the fall and as the season went on last spring... Will get the ball in key spots... Born 3/12/88... Majoring in Psychology

AS A JUNIOR (2009):
Appeared in 16 games for the Gaels, starting seven games on the mound...Accumulated a 10.84 earned run average in 50.2 innings of work...In four innings of work, surrendered one run on three hits vs. NJIT (Mar. 14)...Gave up two runs on five hits and struck out two batters in four innings of relief at Marist (Mar. 22)...Surrendered two runs on six hits in four innings at Rider (Mar. 27).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008):
One of just three Gaels to take both the mound and an at-bat during season...Went 2-3 at Manhattan (Apr. 19)...Went 1-3, with two RBI vs. Fairfield (Apr. 26)...Went 1-4 with a run scored vs. Niagara (May  3)...Allowed four hits in three and two-thirds innings of relief at Duke (Feb. 23).

AS A FRESHMAN (2007):
Appeared in 27 games in the outfield and on the mound as a rookie... Had six starts in the outfield and five starts as a pitcher... Recorded four hits and four RBI in 25 at bats... Had a .300 OPB as a result of three walks and two HBP... Went 2-for-4 with two RBI in his lone multi-hit and RBI effort at VCU on Mar. 13... Recorded a 1-4 record in 14 appearances and 35.1 IP on the mound... After a rocky start, had a solid finish allowing five runs in his last 16 innings pitched (2.81 ERA) and was 1-2... Tossed eight innings scattering five hits and allowing just one run in his first collegiate win over Central Connecticut on May 2... Was on the short end of a 2-0 defeat at St. John’s but tossed six strong innings allowing six hits on May 9.

BEFORE IONA:
Earned All-County Honorable Mention for two years in both baseball and basketball... Member of the CT Blaze summer league team
