Biography

Matthew Cipriano is in his third year in the Iona Athletic Department and will serve as Coordinator of Recreation and Intramurals. 

 

Cipriano is responsible for implementing and coordinating intramural programs for students as well as oversee daily operations for the new Hynes Athletic Center.  He also schedules and supervises student workers for the Hynes Athletics Center and arranges transportation for the Gaels’ 22 athletic programs.

 

Cipriano graduated from Iona with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.  He was a four-year member of the men’s rugby club as well as a member of the yearbook club.  He also served as a volunteer at the Center for Campus Ministries and was a four-year student worker in the Athletics Department.  A native of Deer Park, NY, he currently resides in New Rochelle.
