Biography

Iona College Director of Athletic Eugene Marshall has announced the appointment of Ryan Carr as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in July 2011.

Carr comes to New Rochelle after serving for one year as the Strength Coach at Princeton University.  Prior to Princeton, Carr was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at University of Hartford from 2008-2010.  A 2006 Hartford graduate, he was a four-year starting goalkeeper on the men's soccer team and was selected to the Major League Soccer combine in 2006.

"Ryan will be a great addition to our coaching staff at Iona," Marshall commented.  "He has done tremendous work with Princeton and Hartford, and I am confident that he will be an important contributor to the future success of Iona athletics."
