Iona’s goalkeeping unit enjoyed success under Haobsh's tutelage in 2024, posting seven shutouts on the way to the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Regular Season and Championship titles in 2024. Led by All-MAAC Second Team selection Fernando Alves Schmelz, the Gaels ranked third in the MAAC with a 1.15 goals against average.

Haobsh began his coaching career with John Jay College in 2017 as the goalkeeping coach in before being elevated to head coach in 2021.

No stranger to the MAAC, Haobsh began playing at Siena College for two years, ending his career at Hunter College. During his time at Hunter, he won the CUNYAC Championship and held a school record for 11 shutouts in the 2010 season. The team led the conference in every goalkeeping stat that year.
