Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2023):
  • MAAC All-Academic Team honoree
  • Golden Glove (Goalkeeper of the Year)
  • All-MAAC First Team
  • Appeared in and started in 15 games
  • Tallied an 11-4 record in goal with 46 saves and 1.01 goals against average
  • Led the MAAC in goals against average and ranked fourth in saves
  • Recorded three shutouts against Niagara (Sept. 16), Saint Peter’s (Oct. 14) and in MAAC semifinal against Manhattan (Nov. 9)
  • Went 8-1 in MAAC play, posting a .90 goals against average and 20 saves against league foes
  • Made a career-high 12 saves in season opener at Virginia (Aug. 24)
AS A SOPHOMORE (2022):
  • MAAC All-Academic Team selection
  • Finished top-three in the MAAC in GAA (1.118), save percentage (.753) and tied for the most shutouts (7) in the league
  • Played in and started all 17 matches
  • Finished with a 7-5-5 record in net, leading Iona to a MAAC Championship Game appearance
  • Unbeaten at Mazzella Field, posting a 6-0-2 record in net inlcuding MAAC Semifinal victory over Manhattan
  • Notched season-high seven saves in back-to-back matches (Oct. 12 at Canisius & Oct. 15 at Quinnipiac)
AS A FRESHMAN (2021):
  • 1x MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
  • Played in and started eight matches
  • Finished with a 3-5-0 record in net, earning wins over Columbia, Quinnipiac and Siena
  • Made a season-best five saves at Niagara (Oct. 23)
BEFORE IONA:
  • Played scholastically at Universidad Hispanoamericana
  • Competed with the U15, U17 and U20 Costa Rican National Teams
  • Champion U-17 National Tournament
  • Champion of the National Tournament First Division (2018)
  • Champion of International Concacaf Tournament (2018)
