Iona University Athletics

Susan Scheer comes to Iona from Richmond, VA where she served as a Regional Staff Coach in the Olympic Development Program. She also held the head coaching position for the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club. Scheer had previously been the head coach at James River High School in Richmond as well as a Sports Performance Coach at Velocity Sports Performance.

A 1995 graduate of Stony Brook, Scheer was a member of the Seawolves' women's soccer team, serving as team captain in 1993. She earned an MS in Sports Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004.
