Dylan Nsiah joined the Iona University women's basketball staff as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Nsiah arrives in New Rochelle after spending four seasons at VCU, serving as an assistant coach for the Rams. In his second season in Richmond, the Rams posted a 26-6 overall record and earned a berth in the inaugural Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT). VCU set a program record for regular-season victories, finished 15-3 in Atlantic 10 play, and secured the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. The Rams also recorded the largest year-over-year improvement in NCAA Division I history, improving by 17.5 wins from the previous season.
While at VCU, Nsiah helped mentor Atlantic 10 Player of the Year Sarah Te-Biasu, who became the program's first conference player of the year since 2003-04. Te-Biasu led the Rams with 15.6 points per game during the regular season and averaged 17.3 points per contest in conference play.
Prior to joining the VCU staff in the fall of 2022, Nsiah served on the women's basketball staff at UNCG, overseeing all aspects of the program's film and video operations. His responsibilities included assisting with scouting and personnel reports, film breakdown and analysis, and coordinating official and unofficial visits for prospective student-athletes.
Before transitioning to the women's program at UNCG, Nsiah worked as a graduate assistant with the Spartans' men's basketball team. He helped the program capture the 2021 Southern Conference regular-season and tournament championships and earn the league's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Tournament. In that role, he assisted with practice drills, shooting and skill development, and helped coordinate team travel and meals alongside the director of operations.
Nsiah began his collegiate coaching career at Georgia State as a student assistant with the men's basketball program. He assisted with practice and game preparation, organized travel equipment, worked with the practice squad and walk-ons on skill development, and supported recruiting efforts through official and unofficial visits.
A graduate of Georgia State, Nsiah earned his bachelor's degree in business in 2018 before completing a master's degree in sports administration from Georgia State in 2019. He later earned a second master's degree in gerontology from UNCG in 2021.
