Iona University Athletics

Toni Horvath enters her second year as an assistant coach at Iona after an incredible playing career for the Gaels and serving as the Director of Basketball Operations for one season.  Horvath will continue to work primarily with the team's guards, while also assisting with scouting and recruiting.

A four-year standout on the court, she let the turnaround of a program that won just one game during her freshman season to an Iona team that won a school record 21 contests in 2007.  Her senior campaign saw her take over as Iona's all-time assist leader and the only player ever to record 100+ assists in all four seasons.  Horvath was named the 2004 MAAC Rookie of the Year, and in 2006 led the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio.  She was a 2006 and 2007 All-MAAC Third Team selection.

Horvath graduated from Iona in 2007 with a degree in Education.
