Brittany Vander Groef

Brittany Anne Vander Groef was named assistant strength and conditioning coach at Iona College in February 2022. Vander Groef previously was a sports performance intern at Villanova University for the Fall 2021 semester, working with several of the Wildcats’ division I programs.
 
Prior to Villanova, Vander Groef worked in a similar role at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she assisted with the softball, men’s basketball, and track & field programs. She also facilitated and oversaw the university’s weight room, working with student athletes in Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting movements and mobility.

A former student-athlete, Vander Groef played softball at Norwich University where she graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Health. After graduation, Vander Groef attended Merrimack College, earning a Master's degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning in May of 2021.

Vander Groef is a certified national strength and conditioning coach.
