Katie Falotico was named Athletic Academic Advisor at Iona University in July 2022. Falotico recently received her Master’s degree in May 2022 in organizational communication from the University at Albany, where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in business administration in January of 2021.
While pursuing her Master’s degree, Falotico worked in athletics as a graduate assistant where she assisted in academic services, proctoring study hall sessions and working with compliance navigating through Arms and various NCAA applications.
A former student-athlete, Falotico was a five-year softball standout, earning numerous awards including NCAA and America East Woman of the Year Nominee in 2021 & 2022, and America East Elite 18 Award in 2022. Falotico was also First Team All-Conference in 2019, 2021, & 2022 and a four time all-academic honoree.
Falotico also served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) focusing on community engagement, coordinating events such as reading to elementary students and serving food at the local homeless shelter.
This past summer Falotico worked as a Player Engagement/Community Relations Intern with the New York Giants, assisting in the daily scheduling and implementation of NFL Rookie Development meeting programming.
