Stephen Conway was named assistant strength and conditioning coach at Iona College in November 2021. Conway previously interned at Fordham University for the Fall 2021 semester.
Prior to Fordham, Conway worked at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut, working on ESPN’s “Daily Wager” program. There, he served as a production assistant, working behind the camera in a variety of facets, as well as producing content for the show.
In addition to Iona, Conway works part-time at a sports facility in Newtown, Connecticut, coaching athletes of all ages, specifically high school and college athletes.
Conway was a two-sport athlete in college, playing soccer and baseball at the Division II level. Conway played soccer at Stonehill College, graduating in 2017, with a bachelors in media communications and a minor in political science. Upon graduating, Conway attended Post University, where he played both baseball and soccer, while studying Public Administration.
Conway is a certified USAW Level 1 Weightlifting coach, as well as certified in CPR and AED.
