Sarah Wiener became the eighth player in school history to record 1,000 kills with her six tallies.
Genett posted a .435 hitting percentage to go along with three blocks. Sophomore MB

Wiener became the first player to record 1,000 kills since former teammate and Iona assistant coach
Kristin Allain accomplished the feat in 2007. Wiener stands 37 kills away from Allain in seventh place.
The set scores favored Loyola 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.
Prior to the match, head coach
Alan Edwards was honored for his 100th career win. A feat accomplished last weekend against Saint Peter's.
The Gaels continue action at home next weekend when they host Niagara and Canisius at the Hynes Center.
