Nine Players Named to 2025 MAAC All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. - Nine members of the Iona University volleyball program were named to the MAAC All-Academic team. The Maroon & Gold representatives met the criteria of completion of two semesters and holding a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20.

Marist University led with 13 student-athletes named on the All-Academic Team. Fairfield University was next with 11 honorees, followed by the trio of Merrimack College, Niagara University, and Saint Peter's University with 10 selections apiece and then Iona University with nine total athletes to round out the league's top half. Closing out All-Academic Team were Sacred Heart University (8), Manhattan University (7), Siena University (7), Canisius University (6), Quinnipiac University (6), and Rider University (6).

A total of 103 student-athletes were named to the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Volleyball All-Academic Team, announced by the league office.
