FAIRFIELD, CT-  The Iona College baseball team completed a three-game series with Fairfield with a rain shortened 12-0 defeat in MAAC action at Alumni Field.

The Stags scored five runs in the final half inning before the game was called.   Junior Chris Leahy was responsible for the Gaels lone hit, a single in the top of the fourth.

Iona completes a five-game road trip at St. John's in Jamaica, NY on Tuesday for a single-game at 2:00 pm.
