PRINCETON, NJ - The Iona College women's water polo team fell to 17th ranked Princeton in the first round of the ECAC Championships. Down just one at half, a four goal outburst in the third quarter by the Tigers was the undoing for the Gaels in the 13-9 final.
In her first action of the season, sophomore
Mackenzie Mone scored three goals. Sophomore
Cecilia Leonard had four points on three goals and an assist. Junior
Maggie Wood added two goals while reigning MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
Meghan Keller had a goal.

Kathleen Link had nine saves.
The Gaels take on Bucknell for a berth in the fifth place contest Sunday morning.
