STOCKTON, CA - On the team's second day of its west coast trip, the Iona College softball team dropped a pair of games to the University of Pacific Tigers. In game one, Iona was defeated 10-0 and in game two, the Gaels were downed 7-0.
In the opener, the Tigers put seven runs against before a single out was recorded against two Iona pitchers. The Tigers added three runs in the fourth, with all three tallies coming with two outs.
Offensively, the Gaels were only able to scratch out two hits and three walks against Pacific starter Gabby McDaniel, who moved to 3-4 on the year. Sophomore P

In game two, Pacific had another early scoring outburst which the Gaels were unable to come back from, scoring six runs in the second inning aided by an Iona error to start the inning. The Tigers added another run in the fifth to reach the 7-0 final.
