PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA – The Iona College baseball team dropped their second contest over a Philadelphia non-conference team, falling to Villanova 7-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Matt Hratko each had an RBI for the Gaels, as Iona tied the contest in the sixth inning before allowing five runs in the next two innings.
In the Iona (2-10) sixth, Torres singled to right field to score freshman OF
Jimmy Guiliano who reached on an error. Hratko's sacrifice fly to right field scored senior IF
Chris Burke.
Senior LHP
Colin Lyall allowed four runs over five innings and struck out four Wildcats.
Adam Nelson led Villanova (9-5) with three hits and an RBI in the contest.
Iona will take on Temple for their final game of a three-game trip throughout Philadelphia.
