CULLOWHEE, NC – The Iona College baseball team dropped a 2-0 decision to Western Carolina in a non-conference affair on Friday afternoon.

The Catamounts (6-3) scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings as Iona (2-6) sophomore LHP Eddie Macaluso lasted sixth innings allowing both runs with one strike out. Iona junior SS Matthew Kriss led the Gaels with two of the squad's seven hits.
