NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona College women's water polo team picked up its first two conference victories of the season Sunday afternoon in a sweep of games held at the Hynes Center. The Gaels dominated in their home pool, topping St. Francis (NY) 14-4 in the morning before concluding the day with an 18-10 win over Siena.
Against Siena, Olsen and Turza each had four goals, with Mone and Leonard each scoring twice. Leonard also had three assists in the contest. Freshman

Hannah Cross and Lauraitis each scored once. Gaynor also scored on a last second heave before the end of the second quarter, and recorded one save. Freshman
Devin Green made two saves in limited action.
The Gaels are back in MAAC action Saturday, when they travel to Brooklyn for a pair of matchups, beginning with an 11:30 contest against Villanova.
