Box Score 2 RADFORD, VA – The Iona College baseball team fell to Radford in the first two games of a three-game set on Tuesday, 12-1 and 10-1 at the RU Baseball Stadium.
The Highlanders proved to be too much for the Gaels on both sides of the plate putting together 22 hits in both games. Freshman SS
Vinny DeMaria was credited with the only Iona RBI in the first game after he grounded out to third allowing classmate RF

Mariano Rivera was dealt the loss after surrendering seven runs (five earned) over four innings.
In the second game of the day, the Highlanders scored early with all 10 runs in the first three innings. The Maroon & Gold added a run in the fourth with runners on the corners, Sessa grounded into a double play but sophomore

The Gaels and Highlanders will conclude the series with a single-nine inning affair on Wednesday at 6 pm.
