Box Score 2 PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA - The Iona College baseball team dropped a pair of games against Villanova on Saturday afternoon, 5-2 and 3-1.
Sophomore
Matt Hratko had two hits and an RBI in the first game and sophomore Jimmy Guliano added a hit and an RBI in the defeat. Sophomore
Eddie Macaluso allowed one run on four hits over seven innings, while striking out seven Wildcats.
In the second game, freshman
Max Bruckner allowed two earned runs over 5.2 innings and struck out eight. Villanova pitchers Josh Harris and JB Kole combined to throw a seven hitter and allow just one unearned run.
The Gaels will take on Saint Joseph's at noon on Sunday.
