Sophomore Hannah Schultz scored two of the Gaels goals on nine shots. Fellow second-year player Brittany Toro also chipped in a tally on her one shot. Neither of the goals were assisted.
Freshman Jordin Hall faced 11 shots while she was minding the cage, allowing seven goals in her two quarters played. Senior Dana Delucchi played have the game, making three saves on 13 shots; six Princeton shots found the back of the net while Delucchi was the anchor of the defense.
Senior Rebecca Mathews and Schultz drew two kick-outs apiece.
Following a momentous win the day before, Head Coach Brian Kelly pointed out that “Saturday we turned in two solid team efforts. Today we didn't work hard enough. That's evident in our lack of quality offensive and defensive stats.”
Kelly also gives praise to Prince saying that they “played a really strong game. I give them full credit. We didn't match their energy in the least.”
