BUFFALO, NY - Canisius took the final game of the three-game Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference series with the Iona College baseball team 10-0 Sunday afternoon at Demske Sports Complex.

Senior RF Kyle DiVico was 2-for-4, senior LF Travis Mistretta doubled and senior SS Vinny DeMaria and rookie 2B Sean Breen recorded hits for the Gaels in the loss.

Six pitchers combined for the Maroon & Gold in the defeat. Sophomore RHP Patrick Ryan took the loss allowing three runs over 4.1 innings of work. Senior RHP Alex Fishberg came on with two outs in the sixth inning and pitched a scoreless seventh as the Gaels most effective reliever. Junior LHP Andrew Camiolo stranded the bases loaded in the eighth inning striking out both batters he faced.

Iona completes its current four-game road trip in non-conference action at Lehigh Tuesday afternoon before returning home for three contests vs. Niagara next Saturday and Sunday.
