NEW ROCHELLE, NY - On Friday, October 18, members of the Iona College baseball team visited the Ward Acres Community Garden in New Rochelle to help clean up and prepare the land for the upcoming winter months.
Â
The Gael student-athletes, along with other Iona students spent time on gardening tasks such as raking leaves and removing sticks. The garden is run by volunteers and powered by the support of The New Rochelle Department of Parks and Recreation.
