NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The Iona College swim team lost to MAAC foe Fairfield earlier today. The men lost by a final score of 145-135, while the women fell 150.5-140.5. Prior to today's meet, the program honored seniors

For Iona,
Willow Lopez-Silvers,
Daniel Hadary,
Spencer Moran,
Conor Mullin,
Meghan Pattison,
Isabelle Pabon and Chain all notched individual wins on the afternoon. Hadary (50 and 200-freestyle), Moran (100 and 200-backstroke) and Mullin (100 and 200-butterfly) all secured multiple wins.

The Iona men put together two relay-winning quartets on the afternoon. Moran,
Jackson Madonia, Whaley and Mullin teamed up to take the top spot in the 200-medley relay and the foursome of
Aidan Holbrook, Anderson, Moran and Hadary grabbed a first-place finish in the 400-freestyle relay.

On the women's side,
Katherine Lee, Lopez-Silvers, Sturrup and
Kate Flynn won the 400-freestyle relay.

The two teams return to action on Wednesday, January 22 when they travel a short distance to face off with Fordham. The meet will take place at 5:00 p.m. in the Lombardi Center Pool.
